As you may have figured out from my previous tutorial, I’m not always a fan of pastels. While Easter does tend to be awash with them, there’s one beautiful little bowl of jewel tones I can always count on. I may not love to eat them but there’s no prettier sight on Easter than a big bowl of jelly beans.
This nail art is extremely easy to execute. All you truly need is a bunch of jelly bean-ish colors, a toothpick, something to peel off a decal from (a plastic bag works well) plus the typical nail art bits and bobs like base and top coats. It’s perfect for beginners, non-dominant hands, or if you just woke up and decided to drink an extra pot of coffee for some reason no reason at all I don’t know you’re not my real mom why are you asking so many questions anyway?
I have but one regret: I really should’ve listened to my instincts and gone with a no-smear stamping top coat. I’ve been using INM’s Out The Door recently, and though it dries hard in seconds it just ruins any nail art I put under it.
