Mei from Overwatch tribute nail art tutorial

It’s the very end of April so you know my final video nail art tutorial of the month is gonna be Mei, of Overwatch fame. This is a tutorial in that I tell you how to execute the look I did here but I’d hardly expect anyone to do this full look themselves. It’s a little extra even for me.

There’s still a good amount to be learned here, though! This look uses stamping, custom decals, plus a few at-home DIY hacks to make nail art as easy as creating your own hand-held exothermic reactor with a blow dryer. Hypothetically.

I will say that, as I’m getting better at doing freehand work I’m more annoyed at these custom decals. They work super well for me now, but they can be really hit or miss with bubbles in particular. It doesn’t always make the smoothest final result. In this particular look it went super well but I’m really starting to come around to the whole “stop being such a dang chicken and just put it on your nails” mentality.
